Bluegrass Bass

Students will learn the basics of holding down a bluegrass beat with the double bass. The bass is a key instrument in all acoustic music – and in fact, most instruments rely on the bass player to lead them where they need to go. The goal is for students to come away with an understanding of basic bass theory, and the ability to play along with bluegrass music in several common keys.
